Improvement solutions

A cheaper, safer, more stable line

For factories that run their own production line. We started on the factory floor solving cost, waste and safety problems. That work led us to the manufacturers behind the best solutions, and now we supply what we once specified: furnace construction and repair, the DX-MC dross extractor, locally made replacement parts, process chemicals, coolants and lubricants.

Delivered by POSTEC Corporation.

How it works

From a walk on your floor to figures you can check

We work the way we did as production consultants. The product comes last, after the problem has a name and a cost.

Melting furnace on a customer's production line

01 · Assess

We walk your floor before we talk

Our engineers start where the problems live. We watch the line run, measure the waste and look for the cost you have learned to ignore.

02 · Identify

We name the cost, the waste and the danger

You get a list of specific problems, with what each one costs and the safety risk it carries.

03 · Implement

We bring the fix to your floor

We source the right equipment, parts or chemicals, then install and adjust them on your line.

04 · Prove

We measure again

After the fix we measure the same things we measured at the start: scrap, downtime and metal loss. The proof is on your floor, not in a slide deck.

Services

Four ways we cut your factory losses

We do not sell theory. Every fix is tied to a loss you can already see in your monthly numbers.

Cost reduction

Metal sold off as dross, parts ordered from overseas and fluids that do not last are the usual leaks. We close them at the source.

Replacement parts

Waste management

Dross is pressed for its aluminium first. What is left is collected under licence by Monster Tech, the recycling plant in our group.

Industrial furnace machine

Safety improvements

Less heat and smoke at the furnace, and machines that keep hands away from hot dross.

DX-MC dross extractor

Process efficiency

Furnaces built or repaired around your alloy and cycle, and coolant adjusted at the machine that uses it.

Parts

Stop waiting on imported machine parts

We reverse-engineer the wear parts your imported machines go through and make them here in Thailand, without the overseas freight or the wait.

Machining centres and locally made parts

Consulting

We recommend what we would run ourselves

POSTEC Corporation began as production consultants. We solved problems on the factory floor before we ever sold a part or a machine.

Specified first

Everything we supply is something we first chose for a customer's production line as consultants.

Direct to the maker

We work with the manufacturers behind each solution on the specification, not through a chain of resellers.

01 Furnace construction and repair

Build and repair

Furnaces for aluminium melting and holding, built around your line

We build new melting and holding furnaces and rebuild or reline the ones you already run. Each job is specified for your alloy, capacity and cycle, so the furnace fits the line and not the other way round.

Recover

Press the aluminium back out of your dross

The Postec DX-MC takes hot dross skimmed from the furnace and returns over 50% of it to your process as aluminium, in three steps and under 30 minutes per cycle. It is worth aluminium price again, not dross price. Machines are in use in Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.

03 Flux and process chemicals

Protect

Flux that lets the crew work at the furnace

We supply an imported flux that does not give off heat, so operators can stay at the furnace and clean the melt properly before casting. No toxic smoke leaves the building. The slag carries very little aluminium and cools quickly, which lowers the fire risk. We supply process coatings alongside it.

Results

Dross that went back into the furnace, not out of the gate

One customer was selling the dross skimmed from its furnaces at dross price. With a DX-MC on the floor, over 50% of it now returns to the process as aluminium, in under 30 minutes per cycle.

More

The full fix

We stay for the details that usually get left on the consultant's report.

Equipment specification

Before you buy a furnace, a machine or a part, we help write the specification and choose the supplier.

Preventive maintenance

Planned checks and repairs on furnaces and machines, so the work is scheduled and not forced by a breakdown.

Process chemicals

Coolant adjusted at the machine

We analyse how coolant is used on your floor and adjust it: more parts from each drum every month, no white residue and slower tool wear.

Recover

Pull aluminium from your dross

The DX-MC is our own machine, configured to your furnace capacity and dross volume.

Licensed metal waste collection

Monster Tech collects and recycles your dross and non-ferrous metal waste under its factory licence.

Lubricants and coolants

Hydrosyn hydraulic, gear and slideway oils and metalworking coolants for the same production line.

Show us the problem on your floor. We will walk it with you.
